Growing up as a Buddhist in Brazil, I have been acutely aware of how the deepest realities cannot be seen. This shaped my perception of the importance to understand what lies beneath the inevitable pain and suffering of life.

For almost two decades I would spend hours in daily meditation, deep studies of Mahayana Buddhist Scriptures, and being an active member of community events.

Dedication was a way of life, a natural rhythm, and an ever-evolving expression. Here, a first window opened to question the mechanics of the quality of energies responsible for our mental and emotional constructs. But something was missing.

While in London, I stopped practicing Buddhism, but my pursuit to understand the body's inherent intelligence naturally translated into a course of Acupuncture. Through this path, I continued to study and explore more fields which included Egyptian Acupuncture, Nutrition, Naturopathy, Western Herbal medicine, as well as Energetic medicine.

I established my practice in Australia and I was successful at being able to help my clients shift their symptoms and create a harmonious flow in their lifestyle. But, I was aware there was more to uncover to enable my clients to become self-sufficient and empowered in the long term. Essentially- becoming their own healers.

I had an understanding that in order to gain more access to my body's innate intelligence, I needed to focus my attention away from external influences. So I fasted without books, without music, without coffee and alcohol for over a decade, all to drop as intimately as possible into the intelligence of the sensorial body.  In hindsight, I can see that this experience has propelled me to understand the quality of each impulse beneath my daily choices without automatically being a mere recipient of my external environment. So life is led from the inside out, rather than the outside in.

In this last phase of my work, my practice continues to adapt, with more points connecting and establishing to form a micro and macro understanding.  We have been witnessing a rapid rise of mental health issues, as well as sensorial and technological overload, all contributing to a disconnection of the mind and body.

Over the last few years, there has been an urgent call from my clients to understand on a deeper level the hidden mental patterns affecting the body and stagnating growth. What has occurred within my work has been a natural and organic shift from only using acupuncture needles to emotional health consulting. In my sessions, I can now help my clients access the inherent wisdom of their bodies through helping educate their mind (awareness), which then re-arranges the patterns stored in the body (the subconscious mind). This subconscious is far more powerful than the conscious mind, and without awareness, runs one’s biology.

In order to shift one’s biology at a cellular and epigenetic level, these behavioural and perceptual patterns need to be uncovered, brought to awareness, and integrated on a practical level, so transformation can occur.

Fortunately, there is an innate natural wisdom and inbuilt architectural intelligence in the body, which we all have access to.
